Lauren and Anthony

This rustic southern wedding was perfect for outdoor loving couple Anthony & Lauren. The couple met at a friends birthday party and began dating shortly after.  They dated three years before deciding to spend the rest of their lives together. Both Anthony and Lauren love going to the beach, watching football and are avid deer hunters. Their love of the outdoors and all things Southern was a strong theme throughout the wedding ceremony and reception.

The Couple

Lauren, a Pediatric ICU Nurse, loves to hunt. She even shot her first deer this year. Lauren was attracted to Anthony’s fun personality and the way he kept her laughing. She also noticed he had an old fashioned sense of romance, and it has kept her going ever since.

Anthony, an Entrepreneur with his own clothing line, loves the outdoors and hobbies as a leather maker. He was attracted to Lauren’s sense of adventure and love of hunting. He also thought she had a great smile, and tries hard every day to make her laugh.

The Engagement

Anthony spent weeks scheming with Lauren’s Dad, to plan the perfect proposal. When the time came, Anthony wrote out the proposal in Christmas lights atop a roof. He then brought Lauren down to a family bonfire and turned on the lights. Lauren was so surprised and delighted to say yes to the man of her dreams.

The Wedding Day & Ceremony

The wedding day began with the Bridesmaids and Bride getting ready in the lodge on a cool fall day with gorgeous attire by The New Image. Everyone was relaxed and peaceful. Lake Iamonia Lodge in Tallahassee, Florida was the perfect venue for this rustic outdoor wedding. The groom had small surprises for the bride throughout the day. From signs, along the road to the venue with a message, to a secret message written on the bottom of the Bride’s shoe, the romance was stunning. The bride tucked a family handkerchief into her bouquet, created by A Country Rose. The bouquet also included a family brooch. The Bride also wore her mother’s pearl necklace that perfectly complimented her wedding gown. The ceremony was held outdoors under a pergola decorated with handmade garlands and the guests sat under the trees in antique church pews. The vows were sweet and sincere. The couple looked stunning as they shared their first kiss and were pronounced man and wife.

The Reception at Lake Iamonia Lodge

The reception was filled with simple southern decor. The Bride made the guests favors that included an old family recipe for jam and pickles. There was also a sentimental table to honor guest who had passed away and were not in attendance. Wooden rounds were the centerpieces on each table that held flowers and fun facts about the newlyweds. As the night progressed, it turned into a full dance party. Everyone took a turn on the dance floor. As the Bride and Groom concluded their evening, they left through a line of glow sticks and well wishes to start their honeymoon.

The Honeymoon

Anthony and Lauren will take a mini-honeymoon to Destin, Florida before moving into their home together. They are also looking forward to taking a full honeymoon to France in April of next year. They are looking forward to spending their first few weeks as husband and wife decorating their new home and making memories together.

Katie and Matt

Katie and Matt met through a mutual friend in Austin, Texas, while watching a kickball game. This high energy couple are movie buffs and see about five movies each month! Matt spent months planning the perfect proposal for Katie and after she said yes, she began creating the wedding of her dreams. Most of the decor was created by Katie and added a personal touch to the ceremony and reception. Guests enjoyed the evening, and the party carried on across the street at a beach bar, long after the reception venue closed.

The Couple

Katie, an avid shopper, is fun loving and enjoys traveling. She admits to spending more time tanning than sleeping. When she first met Matt she was attracted to his great personality and that he could make her laugh. She also though he had the best smile and a great beard.

Matt was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and is a huge sports fan. He even blogged for the Cincinnati Reds. Matt has also seen his favorite band, Third Eye Blind in concert more times than he can remember. When Matt first saw Katie, it was love at first sight. He says she had an infectious smile and was a beautiful, tan, blonde, South Florida girl. He knew they would be together right away.

The Engagement

Matt spent several months trying to plan the perfect proposal for Katie. He coordinated with her friends and family to get her to Texas for the proposal. When the time came on a mid-July afternoon, with the heat of Texas all around, he proposed on top of Mount Bonnell in Austin, Texas. Katie was beyond surprised. After the proposal, Matt took Katie to the food trailer park in downtown Austin, where Katie’s family and friends were waiting. The couple spent the rest of the weekend basking in the love and well wishes from family and friends.

The Wedding Day & Ceremony at the Bonnet House

The wedding could not have been more perfect, except for the intense heat at the Bonnett House in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  As the sun was setting a cool breeze was felt through the ceremony. As Katie walked down the aisle, Matt began to cry, and his emotions were felt throughout the room. The ceremony was gorgeous, and the Bride and Groom exchanged vows. After Katie and Matt had been pronounced man and wife, they exited the venue to the song “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” by The Darkness. Katie and Matt say it was a perfect ending to a beautiful ceremony.

The Reception at the Bonnet House

Guest enjoyed a photo booth by Vision DJ’s and generous desserts from Batter Co. Cupcake throughout the night. The classic tables and linens were provided by Over the Top Inc and Hitched Events.  While the couple danced to their first song “All of Me” by John Legend. Everyone enjoyed dancing with the couple including the more senior guests at the wedding. The party continued even after the venue closed, and the couple invited guest across the street to the beach bar for more drinks and celebration.

The Honeymoon

Matt and Katie will spend their honeymoon in Playa Mujeres, Mexico and plan to spend most of the trip on the beach or their private rooftop pool. They are also in the process of moving into their first home together. They are also trying to decide on the perfect first pet. This fun loving, energetic couple are sure to have a marriage filled with good times together.

Jessica and Sean

These high school sweethearts met as teenagers and became the best of friends. After moving on to college they decided there was more to their story and began dating in college. This couple loves the New York Mets and after growing up in New Jersey and New York, they love to go “home” together. The couple both values family and tradition, which was reflected throughout the ceremony and reception. The wedding and reception were held at the Seagate Country Club in Delray, Florida. The ceremony had a rustic, charming vibe. While the venue was large enough to accommodate all the guests, it was intimate enough for the occasion.

The Couple

Jessica was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida 12 years ago. Jessica is a former ballerina who loves her career as a school teacher. She was attracted to Sean because he was dedicated to his family and loved to laugh!  Sean was born and raised in Long Island, New York. An avid Mets fan, he loves to play the bass in his band, and rumor has it he makes the best sandwiches around. Sean was attracted to Jessica because she was easy to talk to and quickly became his best friend.

The Engagement

Sean really took Jessica by surprise with his elaborate proposal. While vacationing in their favorite city, New York City, Sean created a beautiful scene atop a rooftop venue. A table for two, candles, strawberries and champagne, set the stage. When Jessica arrived, she couldn’t believe her eyes. As Sean proposed, a friend videotaped the moment. Jessica said, “Yes!” and the wedding planning began!

The Wedding Day and Ceremony at The Seagate Country Club

A little rain could not get in the way of this couple’s ceremony at the Seagate Country Club in Delray Beach. While originally planned to be outdoors the venue quickly made arrangements for the ceremony to occur inside. The Groom’s Uncle officiated the ceremony just as the sun was setting. It gave the ceremony a romantic vibe and created some great photos. The bride wore a tulle gown with delicate lace details with a long flowing veil. Many guests said she looked just like Cinderella. The flowers, designed by A Red Rose, were soft shades of white and purple adding a delicate touch to the venue. After the Bride and Groom promised a lifetime of love and commitment to one another the party began!

The Reception at The Seagate Country Club

Guests enjoyed a chocolate photo booth while the newlyweds shared their first dance to “Angel” by Dave Matthews. Guests said the food was delicious, although Jessica and Sean were too busy to eat! For a special touch, Jessica and Sean surprised her parents, who had just celebrated their own wedding anniversary, with a special song.  The couple partied late into the night, with DJ Kenny Mondo, as their friends and family wished them well.

The Honeymoon

Jessica won their honeymoon at a Bridal Show prior to the wedding. Sean and Jessica traveled to Montego Bay, Jamaica and stayed at the Sandals Resort. They both said it was the most beautiful place they had ever visited. They were both impressed by the friendliness of the people and enjoyed spending time as a newly married couple! Jessica and Sean are looking forward to returning to their daily life as a couple and are hoping to buy their first home in the near future!

Alida and Andrew

This love story was years in the making. After losing their spouses Alida and Andrew met at their church. For twenty years Alida & Andrew only exchanged a brief “hello” at church. They both felt that God orchestrated their meeting and eventually falling in love. Andrew noticed Alida one evening and asked her to the Christmas program at their church and their love began. The couple even planned their proposal together and Andrew proposed in front of their church congregation. The wedding was held at Shekinah Christian Assembly in West Palm Beach, Florida. After the ceremony the couple, along with their friends and family celebrated at the West Palm Beach Marriott Hotel. Everyone was excited to celebrate the long-awaited marriage of Alida & Andrew.

The Couple

Alida was born in Puerto Rico and move to Florida at age four. She has lived through hardship and learned to trust God to provide for her and to carry her through life. Alida first noticed Andrew because he was very humble and had a sweet spirit. She knew he loved God and could possibly love her. He was the man of her dreams.

Andrew was born in New York and moved to Delray Beach at age twelve. He is a very caring guy and loves his family. He first noticed Alida at church and could tell that she loved God. He loved that she would smile no matter the situation and she was truly beautiful inside and out.

The Engagement

This couple planned their own proposal. They both wanted to share their special moment with the church congregation that had supported them for so long. Andrew proposed to Alida in front of the congregation. Everyone was surprised and thrilled for the couple. Andrew and Alida had a small engagement party immediately following the proposal. They were both excited to plan their future together.

The Wedding Day & Ceremony

The day was a beautiful September afternoon in West Palm Beach. The Bride started the day getting ready at the Marriot Hotel with her bridesmaids. The room was a flurry of hair, makeup and lots of laughs. The couple chose to have the ceremony at the same church, where they met and made some many happy memories. The Groom stood in awe when he saw his Bride for the first time coming through the double doors of the church. Alida immediately became emotional walking down the aisle and seeing her friends and family so happy. The vows were sincere and the joy radiated off of the couples faces. After the exchange of rings the newlyweds made their way to the reception.

The Reception at West Palm Beach  Marriott

The couple needed a large venue to accommodate all of their guests, and they found it at the West Palm Beach, Marriott. Andrew and Alida shared their first dance to “You’re my Everything” by Neil Sedaka. The decor was flawless. The couple’s three layer cake was designed by Edda’s Cake Designs, and the gorgeous decorations were completed by Confetti Family Event Rentals. No detail was missed in this reception. The couple danced the night away with the help of Sound Event DJ’s. Alida and Andrew left the reception with a large farewell from friends and family.

The Honeymoon

Alida was excited to take Andrew back to her birthplace of Puerto Rico, and to enjoy fifteen days as newlyweds. Andrew gathered his courage and took his first flight to the island! Their honeymoon was spent climbing mountains, walking to the beach and even navigating the curvy narrow roads on the island. This couple was truly meant to be and they look forward to a lifetime of memories together!

Anna and Ryan

A pristine church, gorgeous fall weather and a couple in love. All the elements you need for the perfect wedding. From their shared love of bacon and football, Ryan and Anna were a match from the start. Ryan met Anna at a local nightclub and was immediately drawn to her smile. Anna thought Ryan had the best personality and that is where the magic began. Ryan and Anna dated for five years and wed on their dating anniversary at the gorgeous cathedral, Our Lady Queen of the Apostles in Royal Palm Beach, Florida.

The Couple

Ryan, a loyal Dolphins Football Fan (he knows they are horrible), was cool and calm throughout the entire ceremony. Anna, who can’t tell a joke without laughing, was anxious the entire day. They love to laugh and the joy these two felt was noticed by everyone. Ryan and Anna were thrilled to share their special day with family and friends. They value their family and small touches throughout the ceremony and reception made it obvious, family is important to them! Ryan and Anna share a special bond and their intense love was radiated throughout the day.

The Engagement

A walk outside the Morikami Museum and Gardens in DelRay Beach, Florida was a day full of surprises. After walking through the museum and gardens Ryan proposed, asking Anna to be his wife. Anna was flooded with emotion and could only nod her head “Yes”.  Ryan finally had the girl of his dreams and Anna was so excited to begin the wedding planning process. It was a magical day for this beautiful couple.

The Wedding Day & Ceremony at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles

The day of the wedding was unusually hot, but Ryan and Anna made the best of it. Anna looked stunning in her floor length lace wedding gown. Her hair was flawlessly done by Nedsky Sosa Salon.  Ryan looked very dapper in his classic suit. The bridesmaids looked polished in their navy gowns and carried yellow roses. The groomsmen all matched in their superhero socks. The ceremony was classic with no detail missed. As Anna walked down the aisle she slipped but gracefully recovered. When Ryan and Anna exchanged rings during the ceremony Ryan’s ring would not fit! The couple laughed and continued on with the ceremony. As their vows were exchanged they both said “Yes!” eager to move forward.  Ryan and Anna were then pronounced man and wife and guests were invited to celebrate at the reception.

The Reception at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Celebration Hall

Ryan and Anna spared no detail when it came to their reception. The guests found their tables by locating a polaroid of themselves with their table number attached. Guests were encouraged to share the reception on social media. The food was catered by Toojays and delicious. The DJ, Winston Hill kept the party going while Anna was a little embarrassed by the garter dance. The couple indulged guests with Anna’s favorite drink, tequila chased by a strawberry. The cake, solid white with navy ribbon, kept with the classic theme of the wedding. The couple shared their first dance to “Amazed”. Everyone seemed happy to be a part of Ryan and Anna’s special day.

The Honeymoon

Ryan and Anna enjoyed a relaxing trip to St. Marteen in the Caribbean for their honeymoon. They spent time climbing the lush mountains and zip lining through the jungle canopy. The couple also spent a day in Anguilla and enjoyed the tropical beach. The adventures are sure to continue for Ryan and Anna as they begin their life together.
