They have been together ever since. Jon, a native New Yorker, loves spending time with Galina and their cat Tux. Galina is a nurse and also grew up in New York. Jon says it was Galina’s smile that won him over, while Galina was impressed that Jon was a guy that followed through with his commitments. Galina moved in with Jon after a year of dating and they have been together for three years.

The Engagement

Jon and Galina knew it was just a matter of time before the engagement. Jon decided to propose on the coldest day of the year. He had an elaborate and romantic proposal planned in a botanical garden. However, Galina had worked all night and came home exhausted. She did not want to walk around a garden on the coldest day of the year. Jon quickly changed his plans and popped the question in the middle of the living room in pajamas. Galina was so surprised and said “Yes!”

The Couple

Ashley and Matt are a sports loving, down to earth couple with a passion for golf and each other. Ashley is an active volunteer with the junior league of the Palm Beaches and a huge FSU football fan. Matt is a professional golfer who had one of the most successful college golf careers (even tieing Tiger Woods record!). Ashley saw Matt first across a bar and because he was the tallest guy in the room he was easy to spot. Once Ashley and Matt began talking they never stopped! Matt was attracted to Ashley because he knew he could count on her for anything and Ashley believes Matt is the kindest man on Earth. The couple dated for three years before Matt finally popped the question!

The Engagement

Ashley and Matt had been dating for three years when Matt knew it was time. He took Ashley back to the restaurant from their first date and proposed in the spot where they shared their first kiss. Little did Matt realize Ashley was on to his plan the whole time, but she played the surprised girlfriend when he asked her to marry him. Ashley was thrilled to begin planning her wedding with her best friend.

The Ceremony and Reception at Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens

The wedding day at Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens was exceptional. The Bride and Groom kept their cool throughout the day as everything that could have gone wrong, went terribly wrong. The day began with a freak rain storm that caused the ceremony to be moved inside at the last possible moment. The band played an unplanned Christmas song as the Bride began to walk down the aisle. After Ashley and Matt exchanged vows they moved on to the reception. The DJ managed to call in the wedding party by the wrong names and then the first dance was wrong. Ashley and Matt just rolled with the punches and laughed off their series of unfortunate wedding events. They enjoyed a wonderful time dancing and celebrating with their friends and family throughout the evening.

The Honeymoon

The couple planned a honeymoon to Jamaica immediately following the wedding. Upon arriving they discovered Jamaica was having some of the coldest weather it has experienced in years. Instead of visiting the pool and ocean the couple enjoyed eating and spent lots of time reading in their honeymoon suite. Ashley and Matt are sure that whatever life has to offer they can handle it and are looking forward to spending forever with each other.
